Snetterton round 3

mango getting prepped at Brands in March.Round 3 - Snetterton... Not the way we wanted it to go, I was well off race pace and struggling with the front end. This was the first weekend with any kind of constant dry weather unfortunately only Saturday and Sunday! Friday test day was so wet we only ran in the morning sessions and were running good times like the previous wet rounds. When the sun came out on Saturday it became apparent that the reason I have been struggling with the bike in the dry has been because of a bad suspension set up so our weekend turned into a testing session rather than a race weekend. The results would have been nice but we managed to get the lap times down by 10 seconds and have a bike that is finally handling well in the dry. The bike and I returned home safely and undamaged so it's onwards and upwards to Donnington! #zxr400 #mango55 #motorcycle #motorsport #motorbike #bikeracing #bike #racing #training #kawasaki #racebike #trackbike #screamer #superbike #supersport #superlight #trackday #raceday

Benny's blog

Benny and Mango at Snetterton.Just look at those lines.. Wow..
Ahem.
Hi! I'm Benny, the green one, and tbh I'm a bit disappointed Bill didn't wipe some of the grime off near the SueMe sticker before allowing my photo to be taken, also photobombing my portrait shot in the team photo is not cool, but I suppose I have to let the others take some credit, even if they are a bit lax at keeping up with my grooming.

I am a Kawasaki ZXR 400. I could bore you with my stats but boring you would be Bill's job and I doubt he knows them, he'd probably need to ask Alan, who is All Wise, I have to say that because he knows where I'm ticklish.

So at some point the bloke doing the typing will geek out and fill in some of the techy details, but for now I just want to say thanks for visiting my page, here I will try to keep you updated on all the cool things that the bearded chap does to make me faster. (update; His wonderfulness has taken to exposing his chin, probably to reduce air resistance, I'm not sure it's going to make any difference.)
I am actually a bit excited, not just because That Chippy Bloke made this website for ME, but because I overheard Al tell Bill I might get my OWN RAMP!!
No more being looked down on by those archaic singles, especially that TT500, it thinks it's so light and nippy, but can it do a 140mph, eh? LOL or even 100mph, muwahahaha!

Team Mango55

Here we all are, none of this would be possible without teamwork. We have had a few hiccups, but we are steadily growing into the team that will take Mango55Racing to the Manx.

From the left we have:
Mango, he's the one who gets to ride Benny. This is his journey.
Sue, takes care of welfare and hospitality. We tried a track day without her and we suffered. Horrendously.
Bill, he's some Scots bloke who tags along, apparently a chippy. Hence the T-shirt.
Alan is the chap who looks after Benny. He gets annoyed if you put his tools in the wrong place. Knows a bit about bikes.

And of course, Benny, the green one. Team Mango55 at Snetterton
